WSA Secretary-General of the World Organization for Human Rights Visits Erbil Party Headquarters Alongside Delegation
The Secretary-General of the World Organization for Human Rights, Ambassador Ali Khalil, led a delegation including Ambassador Yahya Al-Jamil, Advisor Salah Moazen, Major General Youssef Al-Kasnazan, and Lawyer Abdul Khaliq Rozbayani, head of the Toilers and Workers Party and Member of the Erbil Parliament, Babir Kamala.
Upon arrival at the party’s headquarters, the delegation was warmly received by Kamala alongside the head of the party’s political bureau, Mr. Havel Saleh Kaki. Discussions covered key humanitarian issues, the organization’s efforts across the Arab world and beyond, and various political and social concerns.
Ambassador Ali Khalil listened attentively as MP Kamala provided a detailed overview of Iraq’s situation, the Kurdistan Region, investment opportunities in Erbil, and the Kurdish people’s right to self-determination and establishing an independent state. The conversation further emphasized democracy, human rights, and coexistence among different ethnic groups, particularly between Arabs and Kurds.
Ambassador Khalil reaffirmed the importance of strengthening relations between Arabs and Kurds, highlighting the shared history that binds their peoples and the mutual national interests they pursue.
